At Le Nordet, we give a second life to a precious Québec resource through upcycling.
Following the regulated black bear hunt in Québec, a practice overseen by the government and deeply rooted in local tradition, the animal’s fat is often discarded by hunters. Recognizing its remarkable benefits for the skin, we chose to recover it from a Québec tannery and transform it rather than let it go to waste.
Purified into a high-quality oil, naturally rich in omega-6, omega-9, and palmitic acid, it becomes the signature ingredient in our skincare line — at once innovative, effective, and sustainable.
