Following the regulated black bear hunt in Quebec, a practice overseen by the government and rooted in tradition, the animal's fat is often discarded by hunters. Aware of its remarkable benefits for the skin, we chose to recover it from a Quebec tanner in order to repurpose it, rather than letting it go to waste.

Purified into a high-quality oil, naturally rich in omega 6-9 and palmitic acid, it becomes the signature ingredient of our skincare products — innovative, effective and sustainable.

With or without us, bear hunting exists; we simply recover this precious material that would otherwise be discarded. Our approach is part of a logic of respecting resources, reducing waste, and promoting local value. A simple yet meaningful gesture, for a beauty rooted in Quebec ethics and nature.
